ok im going too try debian again. and i cant seem too find info on setting up a vpn connection with a service i subscribe too. ipvanish.

You should ask the service you are subscribed to, for specific requirements they may
have.
I am sure if you included the name of the service in your search string , they offer
some sort of support, if they don't , then look for a better service.
They do have plenty of "hits" if you just include the name
in your search string.
