Boot failure post install on dual boot windows install

#1 Post by DanCar »

I filed this install report
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=874314

Summary:
I get lots of errors on the console log and I'm not sure where things are failing. Some tips would be nice.

Details:
On the console log I get a bunch of error messages:
* usb 1-4 device descriptor read/all, error -71
* Superblock last mount time is in the future.
* tpm [firmware bug] acpi region does not cover the entire command/response buffer
* wifi firmware failed to load repeated many times. (I don't have wifi) ethernet worked during install
* bluetooth hci0 firmware failed to load. I don't care about bluetooth. Everything is wired.

Would appreciate which error(s) are fatal so I can try to address it.
Also tried installing using:
Debian Installer Buster Alpha 1 release (netinst) and got the same set of errors.

Was able to install successfully by using Debian live iso instead of netinstall.
