Debian 9 - installed 2 days ago.
Installed firmware-misc-nonfree_20161130-3_all.deb.
Os is recognizing wifi adapter and network manager is showing all the available connections.
No matter what I try, it won't connect.
Any tips or solutions ?
Thanks

Have you configured the wifi adapter connection to your router? You still need to enter the router password to make the connection.
I had the same problem with my d-link.
