Cannot install Debian, missing firmware no network

#1 Post by mrconfus3d »

Hi, so i recently had dual booted ubuntu with windows on my acer e 15 e5-575g-53vg. Just removed ubuntu and would love to try debian, however, my troubleshooting has led me to believe that i cannot connect to the internet to get a full installation because im missing the following firmware:ath10k/pre-cal-pci-0000:03:00.0.bin and ath10k/cal-pci-0000:03:00.0.bin. I cant find these anywhere, and i already have loaded the bootable debian ISO with firmware, the name of the file ISO is firmware-9.2.1-amd64-DVD-1.

ThinkPad E14: Arch, Debian Stable
GUI: Xfce

For new: Try MX Linux, Linux Mint; later join Debian Stable
