Hello

#1 Post by chrismortimore »

Hi, I'm Chris from sunny Edinburgh, UK. I'm an Electronics and Electrical Engineering student, and part time call centre worker (customer services, I'm not one of those people that phone you just when you're about to have a bath).

I've been using Linux since around 2000, and been using Debian since Woody (ahh, them were the days... simpler times...). I've also been using many other distributions (not going to bother naming them all here).

I write programmes (in C++ and Perl mostly, a bit of Haskell), build my own Debian packages when they are needed, and happily send off little bug reports to those helpful chaps at bugs.debian.org. Woo, it's fun to be active :)

Anyway, I figured it was time I came onto some Debian forums and made my presence known.

Yeah, I'm revising for an exam that I have this afternoon. I'm gonna post one after the exam.
