If you have inkscape installed you can generate your own:

Code: Select all

wget https://dwm.suckless.org/dwm.svg && inkscape --export-png=dwm.png --export-width=$(xrandr | awk -F' |x' '/ connected/{print $4}') dwm.svg
^ That should result in a dwm.png sized to your desktop ;)

Here's a pre-done 1920w version (in case you don't have inkscape):

Hello. It is slstatus.
Actually, I've just changed back to a shell loop in via this line in ~/.xinitrc:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh
while sleep 1; do xsetroot -name "$(cat /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/capacity)%  •  $(date +'%F  •  %T')"; done &
That only runs `sleep`, `cat` & `date` once every second whereas `slstatus` is polling all of the time and sitting in RAM doing **** all between the clock ticks, which I find irritating.

On topic: switched my glibc chroot from Arch to Debian 'cos the Dungeon Crawl devs have a custom repository that I can add:

Image

The whole chroot system is "only" ~440MiB and is significantly smaller than the erstwhile Arch chroot; it's not that different from a flatpak is it?

That's what I'm telling myself anyway :mrgreen:

^ i always enjoy looking at your screenshots.
very nice setup, fonts in deadbeef (*), matching colours etc.
but, desktop icons with a tiling wm? heresy! :mrgreen:

(*) wow, i didn't know deadbeef is capable of such colourful listings!
