Hi everyone.
I've been trying to build the debian-installer with a custom kernel using this guide:
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/ ... stomKernel
After I run:
fakeroot make build_monolithic
I get the following:
E: Couldn't find package acpi-modules-2.6.26-2-686-di
make[2]: *** [stamps/get_udebs-monolithic-stamp] Error 100
make[1]: *** [_build] Error 2
make: *** [build_monolithic] Error 2
Since it's looking for acpi-modules-2.6.26-2-686-di which doesn't exist in the repository... So I imagine I've overlooked something obvious while configuring either linux-kernel-di-i386 or the debian-installer.
If somebody could just point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!

You should build your own kernel by apt-get source to get kernel source. Then put the udebs to localudeb folder.
If you just want to try this function, you can modify the config/common USE_UDEBS_FROM ?= "unstable" to "stable".

Sickgrin, where are you?
Have you ever solved this?
