Re: source list issue
Your images here don't load, you realise that ?
And from what i can see, you have sources commented out.
You can try to remove everything from sources.list , and paste this:

Re: source list issue
Do you have a wired connection? Broadcom = a pain to set up wifi without one, due to Debian not having permission one way or another to host the firmware in non-free.

Re: source list issue
i might catch hell for this, but this guy Craigevil, helped me out a lot when I first started my Debian journey.
https://sites.google.com/site/mydebiansourceslist/ go down to stable, copy the non-free links to your sources list, just change the release name, update. Go into synaptic, look for firmware linux non-free, and update. its been a few years since I used broadcom but it was a pain. i believe the Debian Wiki has a work around for broadcom issues.
Of course using some of those sources are outside the guide lines, so, its on you if you want to use them, good luck.

Re: source list issue
When doing an installation of Debian, whether netinst or CD or DVD, choose Expert mode to get more options. One of the options is to include non-free repositories, another option is to set up sources.list with your country. if you choose this, when the installation is complete, your will have solved one of your issues.freefixkorma wrote:hi there i running with an issue with source list ,i did my installation with dvd debian 9 i am running a acer laptop bit ,the reason i did the installation with the dvd is cause i was going to do a netinstall but they did not recognize my wifi hardware is broadcom ,so i did the installation with the dvd ,i when to my source list and it was empty,i manage to past all sources and when i update this comes up ,can anyone please help me , i will appreciate thank you i am attaching a image of the outcome when try to update cause i need to add my wifi drivers missing thank you if you need more info please post what info need it

The other issue regarding non-free WiFi drivers such as broadcom can be found in this unofficial image. https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unof ... -firmware/
