Hi all,
I have been dreaming to get a 40" 4K monitor sometimes, displaying 4 windows simultaneously. It is NOT for gaming but only for graphic editing and webpage design.
The space of my desktop table is sufficient for a 40" 4K monitor but there is an overhanging locker above, leaving a headroom of about 20" high which is not sufficient for it. I have been looking at ultrawide monitor but all of them are curved monitor.
Just another idea popup on my mind. The height of the headroom is sufficient for a 32" 4K monitor. Can a 32" 4K monitor for displaying 2 windows simultaneously?

You will only get personal opinions on this as everyone has different preferences and use cases.
Here's mine - I do audio production work on a 4K 43" TV and the display is good enabling use of many channels for large audio projects. I do think it's too big though as I'm no spring chicken and am prone to getting a stiff neck. My DAW, Harrison Mixbus 32C needs a minimum 1440px vertical height so HD was insufficient. I also have a 27" 4K monitor which is great for everyday use but slightly too small to display large audio projects.
The ideal size for me would be 32" as it would still display all the required graphics without so much head turning.
In hindsight I would be tempted to get one like this, wide enough for 2 windows side-by-side by not so tall - LG 38UC99 38" 3840 x 1600 21:9 IPS Curved FreeSync LED Ultrawide Monitor https://www.centrecom.com.au/lg-38-38uc ... de-monitor

32" display is suitable for my writing table without the problem of the headroom space mentioned on my original posting. But I'm not confident whether it can display 2 windows side-by-side which is my idea to start this thread.

I have also been looking at 21:9 ultrawide curved display but some folks object curved display. Does it requires much neck turning sidewise?
