Nobody has replied to your thread yet because:

1. Your topic title is about as vague as it gets. Something like "which packages are needed to get Canon MX992 printer to work in Debian?" would have been miles more descriptive and no effort on your part.
2. Why do you want to use Debian? Passing fancy? You say "security" - what is it about the security in Ubuntu/Mint you dislike or that hasn't worked for you?
3. Please don't say English isn't your first language or something to that effect. Your OP was lazy and as a result nobody can be bothered to help you.
4. If you really were interested in learning about Debian you would do some reading first. I have come across the following topics which relate to your issue in about 30 seconds on Google to get you started:

viewtopic.php?t=107321
https://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-insta ... ke-systems
https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2362915
https://askubuntu.com/questions/326723/ ... 22-printer
https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=191624
https://canonscannerdrivers.com/2017/12 ... ver-linux/

Read around, it's not hard. That's what search engines are there for. The Debian forums are to help people who have tried to solve issues but have hit a wall, not for people who can't be bothered to use their keyboards.

My current recommendation is for you to stay where you are. Debian requires a different mindset to Ubuntu/Mint whereby the user has to do more research and learn more about their OS. Furthermore, people on the Ubuntu/Mint forums will be far more willing to hold your hand than people here. Sorry if some of that sounds harsh, but you hardly got off to a good start.

EDIT: I see this poster has also been causing issues in LQ https://www.linuxquestions.org/question ... 175629704/
