Message "You are not subscribed to any forums".
Hi: I can see that message every time I to the control panel>manage subscriptions. The fact is my posts are not listed there, save the first thread I opened. Could you tell how I should proceed?
Re: Message "You are not subscribed to any forums".
I will make a direct question: why does the message "You are not subscribed to any forums appear"? How do I do to subscribe to a given forum and what's the benefit of it?pcalvert wrote:What are trying to accomplish?

If you look at the bottom of this page you should see (next to Board Index link) a subscribe to topic link, click that and you will be subscribed and should receive a notification by email if somebody posts a reply. if you are already subscribed I think it shows an unsubscribe link (going from memory as I'm not subscribed to this topic)
Re: Message "You are not subscribed to any forums".
But there is also a box "Notify me when a reply is posted" when I post, below the white window. Are the two things equivalent?

Why is that?stf92 wrote:Thanks. A bit redundant, isn't it.

Best not to reply to this OP, he is at worst a troll and at best a very lazy and selfish community member. That is, if his posting history at LQ is anything to go by [a 0.01% ratio of helpful votes:post count does not inspire confidence]. He has posted a large amount of threads there in the last few days and has been accused of 'polluting' the forums.Dai_trying wrote:Why is that?stf92 wrote:Thanks. A bit redundant, isn't it.

Sorry, I do understand what you are saying but was curious to find out what OP considered was redundant as the two features obviously (to me) have a purpose in different situations. But I do not want to aid in the pollution of this forum so will heed your advice.Lysander wrote:Best not to reply to this OP, he is at worst a troll and at best a very lazy and selfish community member. and on LQ, ever polite and newbie friendly, very strict against off-topic posting and insults, on LQ this really means something.Lysander wrote:history at LQ (...) has been accused of 'polluting' the forums.
