Making a Debian Buster theme proposal, thoughts/suggests?

Here you can discuss every aspect of Debian. Note: not for support requests!

Either your monitor or rods and cones are defective. There is no gray in the Devuan theme. It is a blackish purple - darkpurpy - chosen especially because so many users prefer dark desktops these days.

Thanks for the input.

Did some more minor changes earlier and uploaded to the proposal page, will leave this version as is for now.

I did make one simple logo that I really liked, which is modern, works on many different color variations, at small or large sizes and encompasses both a swirl and a capital D. But chance of the logo changing is probably slim to none? I'll probably submit it later as a mockup just in case.

The top one there to me, is getting close. My eyes tell me that the outline should be softer. No as in the color, but perhaps the lines should be thinner, almost to the point where it would be invisible. A nice dark desktop with the subtly of the image in the background.

A different concept altogether.

^Kinda looks like reversed Buzz's swirl. I like it.
Of course, the original swirl is inspired by Buzz's beard swirl.

Been messing with the logo some more, 1 thing I didn't like is that if you focus on the color instead of the white space it looks like a worm or perhaps evens something else.... So I made some changes. The middle one is my favorite one so far, still sort of a swirl. The colors are just an example based on the original.

i love this one!
the swirl, the debian brand, is still recognizable, but it's much more modern.
and i can still see the dachshund in the background.

Yes, this is the best one so far. But I had totally missed that Buster was in there - old eyes. debiman's observation spoiled the illusion of abstractness so that kind of ruined it for me. Very clever and not my thing but it could be a contender. I also liked 'loose tail' quite a bit.

Was messing around with different colors, noticed in some cases an odd banding occurs that sort of works with the design.

+1 from me, too.
It would make a fine background for Buster.

Thanks for the input once again, I've made a brand new theme named futurePrototype, will make a full theme if it's chosen either with old/new logos.

LOL - Do I detect a little poke at OpenBSD's slogan?!?!
But probably more pointed to Windows users I suspect.

How is Debian going to deal with hardware backdoors on its own? It can't. So very misleading.

Don't take it too serious.
