I have exactly the same issue. I installed sid years ago and did not perform any manual changes except occasional apt upgrades. Suddenly, all qt applications fail to run.
Has anyone found a workaround or reason?

It may not be the same issue. OP is running testing and you are running unstable. Unstable recently transitioned to Qt 5.11 whereas testing still has 5.10 currently. The transition took quite a few days so if you did an upgrade in those few days you may have broken it.Duxon wrote:I have exactly the same issue. I'm running Plasma 5 so if Qt was broken here I would have no desktop. I held off on upgrades till transition was completed and now have Qt 5.11 running with no issues.

You are right. Qt 5.11 is installed on my machine. Symptoms are the same, though.
