z8700 Kangaroo sound not working

#1 Post by hanasaki »

Trying to get it to work over HDMI. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Tried custom kernel since the stock 4.6 did not work from jessie, jessie-backports or stretch (config attached)

Everything I can find at present says there is no support in the Linux kernel for the Kangaroo hardware. It was designed for window$. If there is enough demand, and someone to write the drivers, then, maybe ..... some day....

Go ask google before you ask on these boards.

Looks like newer kernels might support it. No longer a worry for me... The unit died after ~10 months and the new N4100, N4200, N3450 systems are alot more powerful at about the same price and well supported.
