I am trying to figure out if my setup is incorrect or is a CDN mirror having issues...
When running apt-get update:
Code: Select all
Get:1 http://security.debian.org jessie/updates InRelease [44.9 kB]
Ign http://deb.debian.org jessie InRelease
Ign http://deb.debian.org jessie-updates InRelease
Ign http://deb.debian.org jessie Release.gpg
Ign http://deb.debian.org jessie-updates Release.gpg
Get:2 http://security.debian.org jessie/updates/main amd64 Packages [679 kB]
Ign http://deb.debian.org jessie Release
Ign http://deb.debian.org jessie-updates Release
Err http://deb.debian.org jessie/main amd64 Packages
404 Not Found
Err http://deb.debian.org jessie-updates/main amd64 Packages
404 Not Found
Fetched 723 kB in 5s (133 kB/s)
W: Failed to fetch http://deb.debian.org/debian/dists/jessie/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found
W: Failed to fetch http://deb.debian.org/debian/dists/jessie-updates/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found
If I curl the debian.org url it gives a 302 redirect to cdn-fastly.deb.debian.org but then that one is returning a 404. Any thoughts?

If something worked earlier today and does not work now (and I did not change anything) It seems likely something has broken somewhere.
Can you suggest a better search term to identify that?
Thanks!

Looks like this started working again. Must have been something with the CDN.
