How about you show us this log as well? How do you start vega? Which output do you get after launching it from a terminal
Have a nice day!

Also, if you're running a development version of Debian instead of a release, you should make that clear from the start.

I also got the mental picture of someone installing Debian on an old Chevy Vega, then it wouldn't start...

I find it odd, some one advanced enough to be using Kali Linux, needs to be asking this in the beginners forum ?
from https://docs.kali.org/introduction/shou ... kali-linux; Is Kali Linux Right For You?

As the distribution’s developers, you might expect us to recommend that everyone should be using Kali Linux. The fact of the matter is, however, that Kali is a Linux distribution specifically geared towards professional penetration testers and security specialists, and given its unique nature, it is NOT a recommended distribution if you’re unfamiliar with Linux or are looking for a general-purpose Linux desktop distribution for development, web design, gaming, etc.
I see "based on Debian' , but nothing about this really relates to Debian at all, many distros are "based" on Debian , but they are not really Debian any more,.. Most of the members here at Debian User Forums are using Debian, not some other distro based on Debian, all though there is nothing wrong with asking here, I really think you should be asking Kali support, or the developers of this Vega thing, you are not likely to find anyone here that can help with this.

On a side note, for my Volkswagon, I am using Minix3 to power the computer, maybe the OP should look into that. :mrgreen:

If it does not start:

1. Kick the front tire;
2. Shake windshield wiper with your hand;
3. Call AAA.

Is Kali somehow different?

I see. No Kali for me, then. I cut the cable after they told me they have no package without CNN. BTW, when I saw the word Vega somehow I was thinking Vincent Vega from a certain Tarantino movie.

Step 4: Replace the aluminum engine because it overheated (easily) and ruined the head gasket seal. Vega = No va.
