I messed up my system by loading files from another repo, I commented out that repo, but now dist-upgrade complains of broken packages.
I don't know how to fix, I could purge these packages and reinstall from official repo, if I knew which ones they are.

“ computer users can be divided into 2 categories:
Those who have lost data
...and those who have not lost data YET ” Remember to BACKUP!

Re: How to identify and fix broken packages
This seems a bit unintuitive to me so I'll tread lightly
what happens when you enable the MX repo again.
does the package manager you use find the broken packages and fix the
brokenness after enabling MX than run the update command?
Steve will know better than I best practices when using MX
