Yeah I will keep an eye out for trolling posts from you as well, thanks. You should try keeping an eye on the post you made a year ago.

There is no need to kill PA at all.
I know that and I even know why I don't want to do that.

It is a bit - let's say - non-standard to call someone an idiot here, but from a ****** ARSEHOLE like yourself what can you expect...
Thank god someone said it, I was biting my toungue, but you are right, that is exactly what you are.

Gee, that's nice, and you come here wanting others to help you, that is what we are here for, but it is not nice, that you seem to know something no one else knows, and have a reason not to do that, which is ok, but it might be of help to others that have a similar problem, to know why they shouldn't or might not want to run PA through JACK.
So in a nut shell, you want help, but don't want to share and give any feed back that might help someone else, :( NOT nice at all.
Forget about the OP now, they are useless, but I really am curious , and if any one can give a reason for not running PA through JACK, please share it, so if others have a similar problem, they know ,...

Apparently nothing the OP says can be taken seriously, I mean, they say they are giving up on the thread, but keep coming back,... but NOT to contribute anything use full, just to call people names, ......

Your insults are as pathetic as your threads

I take it your reading skills are lacking as well, or perhaps you can't figure out how to scroll a screen because my link also contained a method to kill PA automatically when JACK is started, as Garry notes.

I will get my feeding spoon out for you now, little baby:

For the benefit of others:

What the little clown suggests does not work.

I am still waiting for the first grown up to show up in this thread...

But as I have said: I've given up already.

If you want us to believe your claim then please include full details of what you actually tried along with any error messages and relevant journal content.

And if I'm a clown what does that make you if you had to get my help to figure out what acpi was doing?

I am sure you're going to tell your grandchildren about how once you read acpi.c all by yourself.

That should make you proud.

I do not want to deal with you any further, please don't "help" me anymore, please stay out of my threads forever.

I know you won't (and that is why I consider you a clown) but I will ignore you from now on.

My point was how simple and straightforward that exercise was (even though I can't code for crap and I don't really understand C), not sure why you think it should make me proud.

Anyway, my grand-daughter is singularly unimpressed with everything I do that is forum-related with the possible exception of my mammoth defense of LGBTQ+ rights over at http://www.debianuserforums.org/ *waves to cynwulf*

They're not "your" threads, they are a community resource.

And yes, you can expect myself & bw123 to make regular contributions to any threads you open in the future.

my answer is: I won't link it - because it would not add any value.
Not only is this socially unacceptable, it's also factually wrong.

@morgon - you have effectively removed yourself from ever being taken seriously here by being so rude and insulting. Don't expect much help from the most experienced members here in the future.
