Dear community,
I recently installed (not upgraded) Buster. However since I did, my media receiver is not longer recognized when connected via HDMI.
My Displays (DP over Graphics Card) are recognized as well as onboard S/PIDF and frontside headphone jack.
Some system Information:
CPU: Intel i5-4670
Chipset: Z87
Audio chip: Realtek ALC1150
Media reciver DENON AVR-X1200W (sound only)
I hope you guys can help me. If i should post additional information, please tell me so, as I wasn't to sure what actually would be suitable.
Best Regards

Re: Not Recognizing media receiver over HDMI
I do not know, it if will help you, but general recommendation is trying to power on devices in different sequence.
wiki.archlinux.org also writes, that connecting cable during playing sound can sometimes help.

Hey ruwolf,
thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately that didn't work it.

Re: Not Recognizing media receiver over HDMI
Found the Issue.
Apparently now the sound can only be send to an active display.
So that means I had to connect the receiver to the graphics card instead of the on board HDMI port and I had to enable as display.
Since there is no display connected to the receiver that kind of isn't what I want does anyone know any way around that?
Best regards
Thomas
