Whats wrong with ClamAV on Buster? No sudo freschlam

Using clam av and it doesnt want to scan or update!!

Looked like a virus at first to me. Changed topic name bc now I know the "virus issue" was actually a hardware issue so just ignore the "virus" aspects of thread plz.

Where did you get the installation media from? Did you check the checksum?

You were accurate; it was no virus at all.

It was the WalMart bought less than 2 months ago @%$^%$# ONN mouse!!!!! First time problems with ONN brand, dunno about buying a second ONN brand wired mouse!!!!!

ClamAV issues still remain:
1. Can't sudo freshclam (updates virus signatures)
2. ClamAV gets stuck when I start scanning anything
