Why unetbootin is removed from the Debian repositories?

And what is viable replacement for it?

Thanks. I found the deb repository for it but I do like to have option without spyware "Anonymously report errors and usage statistics to balena.io". I hope we will get viable replacement that can be installed right from the Debian repositories.
