Partitioning ssd
I have bought new computer with ssd. I have never install operating system on ssd. I wnt to be dual boot, windows + Debian. Is there any difference between partitioning ordinary hard drive and ssd. Also, what to choose, MBR or GPT?

Also if I use GPT, and if I use USB Hard drive for backup (not for boot) but with MBR, can I access the hard drive?

Make sure that UEFI is enabled and that Legacy mode (also known as CSM) is disabled in your firmware ("BIOS") options.pythagorasmk wrote:How to boot debian installer in UEFI mod?
