Hello everybody,
I have been using my Canon MB2150 printer/scanner alright in Debian 9. Having now installed Debian 10 I find that I cannot get the scanner to work. Printing works o.k.
I have downloaded and installed the software supposedly required from Canon (i.e. cnijfilter2-5.40-1-deb and scangearmp2-3.20-1-deb) -- to no avail!
Any ideas? Does scangearmp2 not work anymore under Debian10? If so, what can I do to get it to work? Xsane and Scanlite do not recodnize MB2150 either...

Re: Canon Scanner MP2150 install
In your titles, you state MP2150. In your text, you say MB2150.
Searching brings up two types of MB2150. Canon MAXIFY MB2150 and Canon PIXMA MG2150.
Can you clarify which one?
Have you installed the driver(s) from Canon?

That's fine. Please add [SOLVED] to the front of the header in your first post in the thread.
