Hello ,


i am using Debian Wheezy 64Bit on my laptop and like it very much / very stable, very responsive.

only it seems Debian has cut off some repository, and i am having trouble downloading some packages.


please help someone to hint where i can get them

thanks, this has been solved (updating the sources.list)

Ummmm--you do know you should never be using an old, unsupported Debian to ever go onto the Net, right?

A modern Debian should also run fine on an old laptop, unless you need an abandoned Nvidia driver or something.

hey, whats the problem with using an "old2, unsupported Debian" as long as it functions very well?
