modprobe: ERROR:../libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep()
could not open moddep file '/lib/modules/4.4.0-18362-Microsoft/

WSL is not the same as a VM so I don't think that module will work anyway. You might get a better answer on a Windows support forum, they would probably be more familiar with WSL than users here.

Why do you need that module? What are you actually trying to do?

But error occured on modprobe can,modprobe vcan . Debian on WSL of another Windows10PC is the same result.

WSL != virtual machine

AFIUI you won't have a vcan0 interface unless you''re running a virtual machine.

If you want to use SavvyCAN in Windows then use the Windows version.

If you want better answers then ask better questions.
