Issues with TPLink T2U Archer Nano WiFi
Issues with TPLink T2U Archer Nano WiFi
Hello,
I have some issues with TP-link T2U Nano wifi adapter to USB.
I had tried many instructions from many sources of internet..
Once It works, but now it is not. I do by https://askubuntu.com/questions/1149117 ... untu-18-04
I can see wifi net, adapter seems to work fine, but it still do not finist the connection, only over and over ask me for the password.
Password is 100% correct, Im sure... Adapter under other OS is working fine, on the same wifi...
Can you try to help me! Thank you a lot in advance... I think I have some bad settings or first installation.. What I should look at?
My OS is Debian 10.

Unfortunately nothing..
I have non free firmware installed already.
Maybe something in dmesg?
... I found some suspicious in log :
[ 8.018982] 88XXau 1-9:1.0 wlx503eaae80e1a: renamed from wlan0
all dmesg:

Please don't post the same thing in two different threads, I've moved your other post to the spam section (because that's what it was).
That output doesn't show any firmware being loaded for the wireless device so perhaps try a newer version.
That's not suspicious, it's completely normal.naked11 wrote:... I found some suspicious in log :Code: Select all

nn, same behavior... but why isnt driver upload from the startup?
net is found, but if I trying to connect, after few seconds asking me again for password..
in iwconfig is, but like inactive adapter(it is blinking):
wlx503eaae80e1a unassociated Nickname:"<WIFI@REALTEK>"
Mode:Managed Frequency=2.412 GHz Access Point: Not-Associated
Sensitivity:0/0
Retry:off RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Power Management:off
Link Quality=0/100 Signal level=0 dBm Noise level=0 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

You can run the wireless info script here: https://github.com/UbuntuForums/wireless-info
so we can see what's going on and what hardware you have.

You need to run the script as root for it to gather all of the information.naked11 wrote:https://pastebin.com/6fbYkZJM
Can we also see
Code: Select all
# dmesg | grep firmware
Did you try the rtl8812au (from the aircrack-ng repository) or the rtl8812au-1 driver version? The former is reported to be more stable.
