Recently did a fresh install of Debian 10.
I have some software that unfortunately will only build with JDK 8.
How do I install OpenJDK 8 on Debian 10? I realize it's not in the main repos, but is there a workaround for this?

Same question several weeks ago - http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=146122
stevepusser's packages from MX are probably your best chance. Don't follow what the OP tried in that thread as they got it quite wrong.
