Yesterday firefox stops working properly on facebook and instagram.
It freezes for a little while scrolling down on instagram. And while I am watching videos on facebook.
I have some extensions installed.
I also have 40 tabs open and custom themes.
But I did not install nothing new.

The speed of web page loading and quality of video streaming depends on many factors, one of them is the server load

The page is loaded but it freezes for a little while scrolling.
I can see the cursor changing but the rest is stuck.
I also have this message at the bottom of the window that says "Mozilla firefox seems slow... to... start".
It works fine on other sites, when I launch it takes a little to open but this seems normal.
It can be that one of those add-ons or the custom theme is slowing down the Firefox.
Besides, I wasn't joking about the server load: Instagram is Facebook -> same server farm, which can be overloaded during weekends.
Another possibility is that they have changed something in the code, causing a regression in performance.
Have You tried some other browser, like f.e. Chromium?

I think that is normal for Face Book, it has all ways been like that for me, even with out 40 tabs open, I usually only have 2 or 3 tabs open. If it was all websites or most, then I might blame the browser, but honestly the only one that is bad , out of all the sites I go to , is Face Book......
