On debian 10 main the device runs when connected.

The /lib/modules/4.19.0-9-arm64/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtlwifi/rtl8192cu/rtl8192cu.ko file
is present. But searching for rtl8192cufw in file manager does not find files. I assume because
they are non free software. Does the rtl8192cu chip run because it
does not require firmware? Else where are the firmware files located. Thank you.

Re: is wifi rtl8192cu free software?
The firmware-realtek package (which contains the rtl8192cufw.bin firmware) is non-free.
