Not for Nvidia driver users, as the latest in buster-backports will not build on it, and I haven't added them to this repo like I did for MX. Also, it needs virtualbox 6.1.14, which I have in a separate OBS repo. I'm pretty sure that the broadcom-sta-dkms package in buster backports will build on 5.8 if you need it. Remember to upgrade those packages before trying to add the newer kernel.

If you're a bit worried about the kernel, many have tried it from the MX 19 test repo, and so far no bad reports.

Upstream is already up to 5.8.10 (available in Arch & Alpine's testing repositories) but you might want to skip 5.8.8 when (or if) it gets to Debian testing/unstable: https://forum.archlabslinux.com/t/error-formatting/4877

There's a 5.9~rc4 kernel in Experimental, but I'm waiting for a final release.

Not worried about 5.8.8, since the kernel maintainers upstream usually take a while between updates, so next version should be later than that. https://packages.debian.org/sid/linux-source-5.8
