The package "LSB" seems obsolete in Debian, however is included in Ubuntu.
Therefore i am not able to install the proper drivers.
i could install the driver "printer-driver-escpr" but this would not allow me to add the driver correctly under Debian 10;
in GNOME the printer section is confusing to say the least;
adding the printer which is connected through USB would result in "Generic Text-Only Printer" but then would refuse to print claiming that the printer driver would need additional software.
previously the problem could be circumvented by installing "libpng12" package from Debian Jessie, and the LSB would install; afterwards the official printer driver would be installable. but this trick seems no longer achievable with Buster.
i am sure there are a lot of Ecotank Users out there and i'd be interested to know what the proper way to installing the Printer on Debian 10 is.
