Debian Buster Samsung C430W printer errors with Cups.

I am getting a print out printer error on a new, vanilla Debian Buster install. The printer is a Samsung C430W. The printer error says:

SPL ERROR - Undefined Command
POSITION : 0x0 (0)
SYSTEM : emil/SPL/SPL

LINE : 481

VERSION : SPL_V10.48.01 09-17-2015

ERROR CODE : 11-1114

I know what the problem is, as I saw the same thing on an MX Linux install:

However, now that I am using Debian Buster, I am not sure what Debian package I need to sort this out. Not going to try installing an MX Linux testing package and risk something breaking...

Already installed, as was the case with MX Linux in the thread that was linked in my first post. I can't explain it.

Perhaps the way the printer is connected to the computer makes a difference. My printer is connected physically to my computer via USB, as my Internet connection often disrupts the WiFi connection.

Mine is connected by ethernet. It might be worth trying that if you can.

Connecting the printer to the Ethernet worked as soon as I created a new printer profile and rebooted. Strange that USB futzes around while spitting out errors, but an Ethernet connection just works...
