Can't create pivot table in Libre Calc.

Hello,
Can't create pivot table in Libreoffice Calc. On Debian 8 systems, there is no "New" item in the Calc Data - PivotTable menu on the computer and laptop. And in Libreoffice under Windows, this item is and works great. I already completely uninstalled and reinstalled office ... does not help. Does anyone have this main function?

Yup. Using LO 7.0.4.2 I have no issues creating a pivot table. Debian 8 is kinda old - perhaps using something a little more current might help?
