How do I use /media properly?
How do I use /media properly?
Well, how? I'm using hal and udev, if it matters. Right now I've simply made a directory there and an entry in fstab and letting my user unmount/mount it. I'd rather have it that the fact that I plug it in / pull it out automagically does this.
If you are using the Gnome desktop:
Open the configuration editor
or start from an xterm: $ gconf-editor
Select "Desktop" --> "Gnome" --> "Volume_Manager"
Then select what you want in the right panel
