Hi guys!
Fixed this....I don't know why because I didn't mess with any of the settings for the terminal just colours etc....reset settings and now the language output is as it should be....

[Solved] Problem with output from terminal
Hi guys!
For some reason on this laptop the outputs in terminal have been corrupted.....
Something to do with the language...
I use Swedish and have never had this problem before.. The black pic shows the output "lösenord för martyn " as it should be from another computer
In the blue pic it shows the output as "lĂśsenord fĂśr martyn" as it shouldn't be..... on this laptop:D
What do I need to do to rectify this?

[Software] Solved [Software] Default Images
Hi guys!
OK this is a stupid question - but feeling stupid today...
The default images for debian are stored primarily in /usr/share/images/desktop-base..
These are just links.....are there actual images anywhere?

[Software] Problem with Plymouth Theme
Hi guys! :D
I had a thread about Plymouth Themes a few years ago and then left it alone....
I have Debian 12 and have now installed Plymouth Themes and added a theme....
Now the problem is - I get my boot image.....then it is a blinking cursor on blank screen...then some random numbers in top left hand corner of the screen which change every time I boot....then I get the theme chosen.....BUT...then a blank screen for a short while before my login screen...
I have tried:
GRUB_DEFAULT=0

[Software] Solved VLC Interface too large
Hi guys!
This seems to be an old problem....
I have just installed Debian 12 on my media centre and that is connected to my LG electronics tv with 1920 x 1080 resolution
I have no problem with other apps - but VLC is huge and off the screen...even If I reduce the sides to fit if I open any function it just disappears off the screen..
Is there a viable solution for this or should I just use something else?

Bluetooth USB adapters with Debian 11
Hi guys!
I see a lot of information regarding bluetooth usb's but can someone give me a straight answer....
Does the Asus USB-BT500 work with the 5.10.10-18-amd64 kernel or not...
I have bought a new keyboard that has built in mouse functions and it works when I connect it up to a laptop with an Intel bluetooth no problems with the latest kernel but I have an older motherboard in my media center and need a Bluetooth USB adapter to make the keyboard work...
I don't mind buying one just would like ...

Re: Setting Up Gufw
Hi again!
Have everything working now...
I setup ufw in advanced rules...
I setup for specifically my interface assigned to Clonezilla...so nothing is able to come in that way because it is only used for Clonzilla...
That works well..
I am calling this thread solved now
