F-droid.org has it's own forums, I think you get better answers there.

virtualbox was in the repo for quite a short time. It was removed because they did not made secure patches to flaws Linux devs told.

Re: Wired connection stops working after a while
Test if net works if you remove completely the switch. Switches only multiple signal to one port to all other ports, I have not used managed switches, but I would guess they can do some grouping etc. And you asked suggested replacement for your wifi-router, if it is working, would not change. Only e...

Re: Wired connection stops working after a while
Generally, what works in windows often does not work with Linux, In your case I would just be happy to find a working solution, I think I gave the answer in my previous posts in the thread. And there is no sense to connect the switch first, I am not sure if you even need that switch. It somehow conf...

Re: minimize maximize and close icons too small
Are you using nouveau or nvidia? I'd suggest also trying live images, if it seems same, or some other DE that would seem at least tolerable.
EDIT; is it a mouse or a touchpad?

Re: [SSHD][Banner]Auto generating SSH Banner from Issue Files
Sorry to get sideways to a flamewar. But I agree to @steve_v that agetty is a bit overhead, I red the man page, and there seems not be option to use without a console. A simple shell script might work better.

Re: [SSHD][Banner]Auto generating SSH Banner from Issue Files
It may seem a huge step, but I guess you still have to it at some point Over my dead body. Cron works exactly as well as it always has, and just because init kraken bloatware-central systemd can do a thing doesn't mean it should . I think you are beating a dead horse, systemd is to stay in most maj...

Re: Wired connection stops working after a while
I can't comment as I don't know how is your LAN now configured. You can try reinstalling dhclient, but usually problems with it refer more to network problems.

Re: [SSHD][Banner]Auto generating SSH Banner from Issue Files
Cron is still there, but Debian uses systemd, checkout timers. It may seem a huge step, but I guess you still have to it at some point, and systemd timers can do much more than cron.

Re: Desktop frozen after changing monitors
Typically VGA is hot-pluggable. I've only done it hundreds of times. If this is a laptop with adapters it is likely a stable voltage/ground loop issue particular to the configuration. If it works for you, I still would not recommend it to others, VGA standard don't have any hints of hot-plugging, d...

Re: Desktop frozen after changing monitors
VGA is not hot-pluggable, that may have caused the freeze*. Maybe search the logs, use journalctl. If you don't want to read journalctl's man-page, -r is reverse, other options, don't remember, I use man pages  * If you really did that (hot plug vga) it may have burned something, try live-i...

@arzgi If you like strategy games I've got a sci-fi themed one called Carpe Diem that I whipped up in Godot engine. My girlfriend plays it for hours on end. I submitted to have it listed on GamingOnLinux's free games database twice, but it was never published there. I wrote them an email about it, ...

Sometimes I had to check XFCE's settings to get the touchpad working, don't know what you DE you are using, worth to check anyways.
