Re: Best PDF reader solution
I see no mentions of atril, which is like evince was before the whole GTK3 shenanigans came about. For more minimalist approach, zathura is great.

I just want a straight answer. You're not guaranteed to get it here. Maybe someone nice can help you at the butnut forums? Oh, wait, is it still down? example: "Add this line deb blah blah blah non-free to the source list" Your example reply is really very, very close. Do a bit more readi...

God damn, you're right. Insert something appropriate in there, like "problems", "a great time" or something.Mez wrote:Did you accidentally a word?debil wrote:Mez wrote:I'm so used to subsilver2 that I'm having with any other theme I try..

Yup. I guess it's in the eye of the beholder then. Or rather, what theme one uses. I'm so used to subsilver2 that I'm having with any other theme I try. IOW, the skins seem to work alright.Mez wrote:You look more blue to me?debil wrote:Say it loud - I'm black and I'm proud!

Re: network manager problem in sid
ceni is good. No idea about siduction. siduction is great, I use it as my main system. Probably the easiest way to run sid (although it is not 100% sid). You do notice that your last sentence makes little or no sense ;) I'd waver to say that the easiest way to run sid that is 100% sid, is to run a ...

Re: network manager problem in sid
network manager can be flakey at times. I haven't experienced any flakiness in years. Some versions did cause some trouble though, a long time ago. OTOH, s/network manager/wicd/ in the above quote and we're getting close to my experiences. +1 on the siduction/ceni combination. I use it regularly an...

Re: Again, one report per spammer, please!
The problem isn't that some spam isn't identifiable, or that spam isn't removed -- it's that spam isn't prevented in the first place. Spam is allowed to permeate this entire forum several times each week, making it easier to find spam than real posts. Indeed, and it's been pointed out several times...

Re: Again, one report per spammer, please!
It's easy, but time-consuming, to skip the obvious spam threads, but lately, spam also appears in many non-spam threads, making it a frustrating waste of time to open those threads. True, but many times the last poster is named asdfafa2414 or cheapcialisdotcom . One can draw conclusions and mark th...

Re:
Yeah. I've never reported spam. Mainly because I'd feel like *bothering* people if I did. For me, it's less of a hassle to just skip the obvious spam messages than start harassing spamhunters (who have but pocket knives to deal with the issue) with futile reports.nadir wrote:Reporting.
