Debian Jessie, iPod Classic 160GB, same problem. As far as I remember, it has worked in the past, during Wheezy testing phase.

I was surprised too, but admitting that there're no resources to backport security fixes is a bit sad, IMHO.
Well, being able to use ff17 engine is a good improvement, nonetheless.

I'on a Win7 workstation, at work, with no access to USB nor CD/DVD burner, and of course behind a proxy. This is the only way I will be able to install debian (or Ubuntu with Wubi, which I do not want to). If you can think another way to install debian, I will be glad to try.

I'm trying to install debian wheezy via win32-loader, behind a proxy, but cannot manage to start. At the end of the selection, when it tryes to download netinst iso, I get: Error: Unable to open http://ftp.nl.debian.org... I tryed to change url from default d-i.debian.org, but no success.
