Re: lsb-compat disappeard?

yeye, as long you dont cut functionality, as we seen in the past, im for "unification".
Epson should know best how to handle its devices? wouldnt you agree?
if drivers have become obsolete, let me know.

Re: lsb-compat disappeard?

yes, but Epson Driver relies on LSB, so why censor older packages?

if a driver is better than the other, why not use it?

Re: Debian-Grub does not find second NVME (Os-prober)

yes, grub-probe does find the UUID of the mounted drive, like mount /dev/nvme0n1p1 /mnt root@debian:~# grub-probe --target=fs_uuid /mnt/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi D2C1-F013 however, upon reboot, the error is there again: (for Windows drive 1) hd3,gpt1error: file `/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.ef...

Re: Debian-Grub does not find second NVME (Os-prober)

i tried your method, but with nvme0n1p1 and nvme1n1p2 since those gave back UUID, but the "sudo update-grub" would not return the Windows entries. What do you mean by "would not return the Windows entries"? Did you check /boot/grub/grub.cfg to see if the new menuentries have bee...

Re: Debian-Grub does not find second NVME (Os-prober)

Its output will be used to detect bootable binaries on them and create new boot entries. Found W...

Re: Debian-Grub does not find second NVME (Os-prober)

can confirm that the issue is "solved" when Debian 9 is installed, since there it would correctly see both NVME and list the entries in Grub Startmenu; upgrading to Debian Buster however breaks the Grubentry, and only one NVME is listed in Grubmenu (NVME0, win11). this is unfortunate bit, ...
