Indeed every DE/WM display settings will help, also inxi will help with display output Cable with both sides HDMI is okay too, i used to have an issue with an HDMI to DP wich i didn't know on my old tower.

I have had only good experiences over the years with Linux OS'es, where i have failed somewhere, it was only because i made some stupid mistake.

Ubuntu, Mint, #!, BunsenLabs, Debian, Devuan, Alpine, Fedora and currently openSUSE. All these OS's have given me only fun and fulfilled my needs.

I ditched Firefox for Chromium, i see a much better performance on the web pages, and especially in the browser launch. It also seems to me that it is more lightweight versus Firefox.
