Re: Updated CP2102 driver

Have to correct myself. Think I do have one of the 'bad' CP2102s here. We do some programming of small micro controllers like Arduinos or ATTinys and that one here was send over to me for a check, because the user could not flash firmware with that UART. But it is obvious, that the inscription on th...

Re: Latest Debian Stable won't install on Asus Prime B450M-A2

Your AMD Ryzen 5 4500 CPU needs a BIOS Version 3211 or higher, but that was out 2021/08/26, so this should be OK.

Re: update screwed

so . . is there a fix for this? or do i just boot the previous kernel from grub? You have to boot the previous kernel or reset your system to a 'before update' state. We do have a kernel developer here in the German forum and he pointed at once to Nvidia. For 'siduction' he stated, that they have p...

Re: update screwed

@ Rita G. Probably this here https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=158261 It is always a good idea to have a system backup at hand. When I saw the error messages in synpatic, I stopped and did a system backup at once, before having my system messed up. I am not an expert, just a normal user and ...

Now to Debian 12.4.

Again those error messages '/usr/sbin/dkms: line 2497: echo: write error: Broken pipe'.

Code: Select all
