Hi kedaha, I used to use cinelerra up to last Debian stable release. I had some issues intalling it so I gave up ... Now I'm using other programs to make my video editions, but I really would like to give it another try if as you say works fine. Any howto that you could advice me for installing in D...

Desktop icons bigger after upgrade (SOLVED)

Hi all, I've just upgraded from jessie to stretch and all it's working as it was before but I have a little issue that it is very annoying. My desktop icons are bigger than before so I have almost all of them in the bottom right corner one over another so it is impossible to click them. Anyone knows...

Same hardware here on my Acer Aspire E 15. I don't need any /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf file, but:

uname -a
Linux debian 4.6.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.6.4-1~bpo8+1 (2016-08-11) x86_64 GNU/Linux
I'm on jessie but I backported my linux kernel so maybe you should do the same.

Hi all, I yesterday deleted an iso image of a bad HDD from my home folder. The file disappeared inmediately from my sight but when I ran: df -h to see how much space was left there was no change. There's no problem in installing nvidia drivers but you should do it in the Debian way:
