Keep them installed on your system, i use nvidia closed drivers and those packages are installed on my pc too.

I remember Nvidia drivers give a lot of issue when the user uses an external monitor, probably latest drivers fix the issue. Perhaps a solution is here.

Can you test with a live distro??? Just to exclude a HW issue

It is important to set the "nvidia_drm.modeset=1" in early stage of booting process and the grub setting is right for you.
Did you edit the option "WaylandEnable=true" in "/etc/gdm3/daemon.conf"?

Probably you will find unmet dependecies, you are on stable, just try. You could use the appimage binary, it is simple .
