Re: Unexpected wakeups

I had odd issues with my laptop were turning lights or anything in same room with laptop would turn it on. I followed it to usb devices, it seemed that small voltage changes on input would cause variation to usb device which would then be registered as wakeup request. I solved it by disabling all by...

Re: Unexpected wakeups

You can check with lspci what are those devices. Just look at last 3 fields of
OHC1 S4 *enabled pci:0000:00:12.0
EHC1 S4 *enabled pci:0000:00:12.2
OHC2 S4 *enabled pci:0000:00:13.0
They will be names as such in lspci. So EHC1 will be described by 00:12.2.

You had added non-free manually, it won't be added if you did it.

Once you are logged as root, just write
echo $PATH
And copy here what you get.

Re: [solved]How to get wifi working in bookworm on Sys76 Gaz15??

You need to run it as root, if for some reason you can't, check your PATH environmental variable. /sbin should be in roots path.

Re: [solved]How to get wifi working in bookworm on Sys76 Gaz15??

If you have installed isenkram-cli, tool should be under, so check if it is there
/usr/sbin/isenkram-autoinstall-firmware

It should work under Bookworm, if anything would give you error message.

You need to run isenkram with root privileges, that is all.

Re: How to get wifi working in bookworm on Sys76 Gaz15??

As for user not being in sudo group, if during installation you create root account, you specify root password, then your account won't be added to sudo group. It is expected Debian behaviour. To amend that add your user to sudo group and log out. I am unsure if sudo is installed if you set up root ...

Re: How to get wifi working in bookworm on Sys76 Gaz15??

Seems pretty clear that the necessary firmware or drivers were not installed in the installation . . . question would be . . . why? But, I'll check into that later on today . . . see what shows up . . . . If you installed from official Debian image it won't include non-free firmware, it is expected...

Re: How to get wifi working in bookworm on Sys76 Gaz15??

Have you installed necessary firmware?
Install
isenkram-cli
And run
isenkram-autoinstall-firmware
That should tell if there is missing firmware.

Re: KDE add Korean language, non-default, much language changes to Korean

I am glad you found solution, can you add [SOLVED] to first post. Also, I think you should be able to set it up using Fcitx too, but as long as it is working for you there is no need. I for some reason was unable to find fcitx on my syste, nor ibus.

Sadly not in that case, I didn't read your first post carefully, so my comment doesn't help your case.

Yes, they can be disabled. But no need to disable USB storage, just disable auto mounting.

Re: monitor not waking up with bullseye

You can create script in /usr/lib/systemd/system-sleep , that would run automatically on wakeup. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_management#Hooks_in_.2Fusr.2Flib.2Fsystemd.2Fsystem-sleep Example of tlp #!/bin/sh # tlp - systemd suspend/resume hook # # Copyright (c) 2020 Thomas Koch <linrunner...

Re: KDE add Korean language, non-default, much language changes to Korean

Re: KDE add Korean language, non-default, much language changes to Korean

What is content of /etc/default/locale. Setting in system setting should work. Also you said you wanted to keep English as default, do you need Korean only for localization settings such as time format, numbers etc and for keyboard input, in such case you don't have to add it in Language setting of ...
