UPDATE: I changed the setting from RAID to AHCI following this guide.

digging in the bios I found that the ssd is actually set on raid. Changing the setting to ahci sends me enormous warning signs. Is raid compatible with debian somehow or is it strictly necessary to change this setting? Thank you very much for your help!

The hard drive is a kbg40zns512g nvme kioxia 512gb.

going on the BIOS I found that my SSD is actually identified as SATA. Since this is the most likely issue, are there any workarounds to solve it?

it's a NVMe SSD. However, I don't know how to lspci from the netinstall image. I could use a live distro in order to do that, but it wouldn't of course be significant for the debian installation.

I would like to install dual boot. The iso used (and verified) is the RC2 amd 64 bullseye image with firmware for netinstall

i am having troubles installing debian on this laptop, as the partitioning tool can only see the usb installation media, but not the ssd where i would like to install debian.
