Re: no access to Nextcloud from Nautilus via GOA
The problem has been solved now since the update of the gvfs package appeared in Debian Testing today. Apparently it was a bug. I'm more happy now .

no access to Nextcloud from Nautilus via GOA
A while ago there was an update in Debian Testing. After that, Nautilus cannot access to Nextcloud files anymore via Gnome Online Account (GOA). I got the message "Message recipient disconnect from message bus without replying. Probably it has something with a bug in gvfs package, but I'm not s...

Re: Debian unstable doesn't resume after suspend
Disabling the suspend following the instructions in the Debian wiki page on suspend prevents laptop locking and hence will resume from black screen (of course). But that is not the solution since suspend itself is necessarily for energy saving and good power management. So I think one should not dis...

Re: Debian unstable doesn't resume after suspend
I have the same issue. Also I have Linux kernel 5.14, but with AMS Ryzen 7 5800H, Debian Testing (bookworm) with GNOME, Nvidia RTX 3060 with nouveau driver and AMD Renoir with amdgpu driver. The solution that other OP here on the forum suggested, namely adding init_on_alloc=0 to GRUB parameters, doe...

Re: laptop hangs during (re)boot [SOLVED}
Installing the package firmware-amd-graphics did the trick! First I purged the nvidia package away from the system, then install the amd firmware package and then reboot. I got the login screen back. The movies went surprisingly smooth. The nouveau driver in combination with the amd firmware works w...

Re: laptop hangs during (re)boot
There were some red lines. Probably linked to the issue are the two lines: *ERROR* amdgpu requires firmware installed and gdm-launch-environment: GLib-GObject: g_object_unref: assertion 'G-IS-OBJECT (object)' failed The latter seems an old bug . But no solution has been presented there. What can I do?

laptop hangs during (re)boot [SOLVED]
Dear all, I bought a new Linux laptop with Nvidia RTX 3060 and Ryzen 7 5800H (bought at Tuxedo). Because TuxedoOS contains a bug and because I am a fan of Debian, I decided to do a fresh install of Debian bookworm (hence Testing and Linux kernel 5.14) with GNOME to use the recent Nvidia driver 470.8...
