Re: Upgrade to Debian 12 "bookworm" when available?
Yes, to be clear: Everyone should carefully read the release notes linked in the second post above. It is not a massive text, and it contains lots of useful info on how the system works. I haven't. I regret the oversight. Fortunately the upgrade went through smoothly. I was sidetracked by this: htt...

Re: [Hardware] Bluetooh audio output stops working after a few minutes
Ok, I did sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi-opt.conf <<< "options iwlwifi bt_coex_active=N" Then I rebooted. Now, when I input cat /sys/module/iwlwifi/parameters/bt_coex_active It returns N I thought a workaround would be to turn off Wifi. But it does not help. Issue still persists. I have ...

Re: [Hardware] Bluetooh audio output stops working after a few minutes
It does not solve the problem, i.e. issue persists. It happens this way: 1. Video has no sound suddenly (playback resumes). 2. Bluetooth headset disconnects 3. Bluetooth headset reconnects after a few seconds 4. Playback resumes. This does not happen with the same Bluetooh headset on Android, also n...

[Software] Writing to USB pen drive very slow
Hi, after years of using Debian for the first time I noticed the following behaviour. Copying files to a pen drive is very slow. The status winow will just be stuck for minutes showing the exact same percentage and time. This is definitely new. http://lutim.anartist.org/zjPpk5SW.png I tried various ...

Re: [Testing] Can't change display brightness with Fn keys
I tried this and a few other things but the issue would not go away.
Fortunately I created a disk image before upgrading, so I was able to safely revert to stable.

Re: [Testing] Can't change display brightness with Fn keys
Thank you.
Added said parameter to /etc/default/grub, update-grub and rebooting did not help.
I tried some other parameters suggested elsewhere but to no avail.

X230 can't connect to Wifi with integrated Intel NIC
Hello, I have a Thinkpad X230 running Debian/testing. I have installed all updates. Before I was on Debian/stable and the situation was the same. I can't connect to Wifi with the integreated Intel Wifi. I tried different Wifi networks. But they all don't work. Using a USB Wifi NIC (Atheros). I check...
