Re: Ctrl+n shortcut in Debian 12 XFCE

I have noticed same thing in another mud client Tintin++, pressing ctrl+n doesn't show specific code which can be used to make #macros. It seems be some kind of global shortcut intercepted before everything else...

Re: Ctrl+n shortcut in Debian 12 XFCE

Yeah I tried disabling all ctrl related keyboard shortcuts, also these in XFCE settings. I know how keybinds work very well, only Ctrl+n behaves diferently how I described in first post. There is just few miliseconds window open for adding "n" to trigger bind. Normaly I can press ctrl, wai...

Ctrl+n shortcut in Debian 12 XFCE

Hi. I try to use Ctrl+n bind in Mudlet mud client but it only works when I press these buttons very quickly and alternately. Other combinations like Ctrl+2, Ctrl+w are ok. I checked XFCE, Mudlet keyboard shortcuts, but there is no this same bind used.

Re: Worse Battery life, with 11th gen i3 in kernels past v 5.18(may be even earlier)

Aki I've never done this before so I don't want to break anything. As I wrote before, Debian 11 meets my requirements, and from what I see the current testing distribution already has kernel 6.4.4, so I can wait for Debian 13. It turns out that there is a marginal problem since on such a server-fri...

Thanks for reply.
All I need is just fixed kernel and no-rolling release without frequent system updates. I don't care newest packages, so I could also consider backing to Debian 11.

Re: Worse Battery life, with 11th gen i3 in kernels past v 5.18(may be even earlier)

Is there any chance for LTS kernel patch in near future? Any info from developers or something?
I really would like to stay on stable distro.

Re: [Software] Worse Battery life in kernels past v 5.18(may be even earlier)

Same here on old Fujitsu e756 laptop with i3 6th gen. On older kernels 5.10.xx I had lowest frequencies 400 MHz(sometimes 800 jump) most time on idle with powersave governor. After upgrade to Bookworm it stucks mainly on max 2,3 GHz, seldom drops to 400 MHz. Is it new kernels behaviour, or should I ...

Wifi laptop led

Hi. I've just installed Debian 11 on Fujitsu e756 laptop and have one problem. System always starts with wifi led indicator on (even if I turn wifi off in network-manager applet in previous session). After system startup led is insensitive to I/0 wifi switching by network-manager, but after first ph...
