My KDE display was still messed up with X11. I did install plasma-workspace-wayland and that made things better I think. Not sure about the kernel but the Nvidia driver seems to be working just fine in Gnome and Cinnamon. Much better and clearer graphics that the stock driver. How do I try X11?
