MrFrood ---

How do i know the 'Bunny' does actually seek world domination ?
If so, does it have its' roots in some population pressure issue.
Could we not come to some form of compromise with him/her.
And what happens to me --- if i was to comply ???

Re: Shell No!

Hullo All, (very_big_grin) I couldn't _live_ without my FVWM, and its' easy to use Multiple Desktop Pages --- if that's what you all mean. They are pages of the one desktop btw, not different desktops. I use an array of 3x3 and find it very easy to move between, by just moving my pointer either up, ...

Re: Still using ext3.

Howdy All, I use ext2 because of its' proven stability. When i stop seeing any posts on problems with other more recent filesystems --- then i might consider using them. My data is that important to me and i'm in no rush, or bothered by fsck runs. Most of my partitions are around the 4 to 8 Gib rang...

Troll Provocatuer

Howdy All, While this contravenes my own policy of "Don't feed the Troll(s)", it would seem i'm going to have to amend it to ... "Lets at least try not to feed the troll(s)" (grin) It boggles that such people do indeed exist in a way, and it must warm the hearts of the people wor...

Re: Clock keeps losing correct time.

Howdy, Q: Any ideas? Knowing what time zone do you live in would be kind of, well, helpful... Do you have a time-zone file in your /etc dir or a symlink ... such as, i live in Sydney Australia and had a symlink called 'sydney' that pointed from /etc to /usr/share/zoneinfo/Australia/Sydney. The troub...

Re: Tips from our Members

Howdy All, This thread drifts off-topic and i'm not sure if it should be an interactive thread as well. More of a 'what you need to do/get right' before you post kind of thing. The suggestions on 'how to post' are what would be the most useful here. Personally i find it quite perplexing just trying ...

Howdy, So your saying it now boots ... ??? What edit did that ??? The device name ?? Why happens if you edit the user menu item ? How do you know/what do you mean by 'only the enter key works' ? Not having generic keyboard support (as an input device) configured in the kernel will prevent it working...

Howdy All, I'm not really sure just what your saying here at all edbarx.
